MEET PEARL
Pearl is a therapy dog with Pet Partners. She completed basic and intermediate obedience training prior to her Pet Partners test in January of 2015. Pearl was certified just days after her 1st birthday! Nancy McNeil is her owner and trainer. They visit the hospital, Hospice kids events, local college stress relief days and participate in "pet responsibility" lessons for children. Nancy's exact words are "Pearl is truly a loving and amazing dog!"

MEET CHLOE
Training and Certifications: Chloe and I have learned so much training with Melony Phillips of Delightful Dog, even learning to do Rally Obedience. Chloe earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate, and we are now a nationally registered therapy dog team with Alliance of Therapy Dogs (formerly Therapy Dogs, Inc/TDInc). We are also a nationally registered R.E.A.D. team (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) with Intermountain Therapy Animals.
Activities: Chloe visits at a senior center every month where she brings lots of smiles and laughs to our sweet seniors. She goes to the Milton Library twice a month for an after-school program where children grades 1-5 read to her. She helps them learn to read more fluently and with greater comprehension. Children sign up to read with her (they look foreward to her coming) and after earning 10 "paws," Chloe brings them a brand new pawtographed book for their very own as a reward. In the spring, Chloe volunteers at Mercer University's "Camp Inspiration," a day camp for medically fragile children and their familes. She loves to work, and would happily visit more people who need her in hospitals and hospices if Mom didn't have to go off to work everyday!
MEET REAGAN
Reagan and I have trained with Melony Phillips at Delightful Dog too, for a great positive beginning. Reagan has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate, and is now a working therapy dog for CAREing Paws. She gets lots of beauty comments and ooohs and ahhhhs from patients in a long term care and rehabilitation center. Wheelchairs, walkers, and other paraphernalia have not slowed her down one bit. In addition to her therapy works, she is a registered R.E.A.D. (Read Education Assistance Dog).
Admiral - Joyce and Jake Hall, Suffolk, VA
Donna, I was going to text you all the wonderful things that Admiral has done this week to tell you again how proud I am of him and how lucky I am to have a Suwanee Goldendoodle and to have made such a wonder FAMILY connection with you and the gang. ... Every day that I bring him to the hospital, it's wonderful seeing people smile, recall memories of their own dogs past/present, and motivate them to either train their dogs or to just get better in the hospital.
Patients and staff alike look for Admiral when he doesn't come with me. He's truly made a name for himself here at the hospital. When I find families that I feel would benefit from a doodle's love, I don't even hesitate to have them talk to you. Because I know that Admiral's temperament was certainly molded with you and Chloe from the very beginning. Today, he had the very special opportunity of meeting the Admiral of our hospital (all all the other senior officers in our command!). He was so perfectly behaved, I could not have asked for more from him. We may now have the opportunity to try to set up a more regimented pet therapy program here at the hospital/command site to include a mascot pet therapy dog. In the meantime, Admiral has done that on his own. Thanks again for everything!!!
